Pure titanium- the metal of 21st century
Titanium is a kind of metal with white silver metallic color, with high melting point of 1725℃, low density of 4.5g/cm3, high mechanical strength, high formability, and unparalleled physical property.
Titanium tends to form a thin but solid oxide film in oxidizing environment, and this kind of film is able to withstand the erosion of oxidizing solution and chloride solution, thus making titanium a strong corrosion resistant metal, commonly used in aviation and military.
Requiring no special maintenance, pure titanium’s usage life can be up to 100 years and it is widely used in some key architectural projects, as decoration materials for roofing, exterior and interior wall decoration.
