B&G has won the bid of metal roofing project in Kangidng Beimen Gymnasium reconstruction

Recently, B&G has won the bid of metal roofing project in Kangding Beimen Gymnasium reconstruction. After long-term complicated procedures of tendering, inspection, sample evaluation and negotiation with the contractor, B&G has finally completed the Sales and Installation Contract of metal roofing system.

Kangding Beimen Gymnasium was built in 1990s and cannot catch up with the fast development of urbanization and sports , as a result of long existence and gradual natural corrosions. To deal with this situation, Ganzi Government has especially formed a team to carry out the reconstruction work of Beimen Gymnasium.

The new gymnasium will be expanded on the basis of current land and will cost RMB 240 million. After its reconstruction, the new gymnasium will become a combination of sports and amusement center, parking district, crowd distributing center and as well as shelters for emergency.

According to the contract, B&G will take charge of material supply and installation of metal roofings, single panels and skylight system, of large scale. However, as a main venue of The 9th Kangba Art Festival, the Beimen Gymnasium is scheduled to come into service in the middle of July. That means, the time for production and installation is so limited that this project has become a harsh challenge.
